How to Naturally Boost Your HGH Levels

July 14, 2016 - Christopher David Leave a Comment

naturally boost HGH

It seems like everyone these days is interested in how they can boost their HGH levels and reverse the aging process. Before you go out and spend your hard earned money on supplements, you need to understand the truth about human growth hormone. In fact, there are natural ways to boost HGH levels which are not only safer than many supplements, but also much more effective.

Our natural HGH production peaks during adolescence. Because there’s a greater need for cell regrowth as we get older, people try various methods for increased growth hormone levels well after they’ve graduated into adulthood.

Taking control of your diet and exercise is one way, and combining a strict workout plan with the use of oral supplements or topical cream is another. Injections via a doctor’s prescription will help you heal faster but will get you in trouble with the law if procured illegally. Each works in specific ways to raise HGH levels that are vital in the fight against cell degeneration.

How to Boost HGH Levels Naturally

1. Exercise

The most effective natural way to boost your growth levels and start looking and feeling younger is to exercise and sweat! This has also been proven in numerous studies (3).

Robert Handerahan, head strength and condition coordinator at George Mason University, says “After a high-intensity workout, muscle damage occurs. The pituitary gland secretes elevated HGH to repair these damaged muscles.” “Growth hormone levels work in contrast to insulin levels. High insulin equals low HGH. Avoid high-sugar foods and drinks after workouts. Insulin suppresses growth hormone release. Eat smaller meals throughout the day with lower-glycemic carbs to keep your blood sugar stable. High blood sugar inhibits HGH release and promotes fat storage.”

Handerahan goes on to say, “Stay away from consuming high-glycemic foods two hours before nightly sleep. The resulting insulin spike will negate the pituitary gland’s natural release of elevated HGH.”

2. Diet

Foods don’t naturally contain HGH per se, but including certain foods in your daily diet can stimulate your body to produce more growth hormone. Some of the most effective growth hormone producing foods are:

Pineapple

Fava Beans

Goji Berries

Algae

Eggs

Watermelon

Whey Protein

Beats

3. Fasting

Fasting has been proven to boost human growth hormone levels. Fasting enhances growth hormone secretion and amplifies the complex rhythms of growth hormone secretion in man (1).

4. Amino Acids

Glutamine – Try taking glutamine after a workout or before bed. Glutamine may boost growth hormone levels, according to a study completed by researchers at the Louisiana State College of Medicine (4). They discovered that subjects consuming 2 g of glutamine experienced increases in HGH levels.

L-arginine – L-Arginine has been shown to increase growth hormone levels in a handful of studies (2).

Conclusion

Maintaining adequate levels of HGH is important to keep the body lean and strong well into old age. The prescription is as follows: Exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet including Growth Hormone enhancing foods, and supplement with amino acid precursors.
